Generally good, the chassis is sound, the brakes have just been sorted at a
specialist. The metal work is good, only minor dings seem to have been
repaired. No rust holes. The door are all straight and close with a
satisfying clunk. Recent new tyres. Starts easily and pulls well . The interior is
mostly original with only the front carpets being a replacement. There is
some scuffs and aging to the bottom of the door cards where they close onto
the body work. The main electrics are all OK. Indicator (flashing additions)
only sometimes work as does the fuel gauge. The chrome is generally good.
Some pitting on the spare wheel cover. The car black and maroon. The maroon
is lighter than the photos came out. |

were noted for success in the Monty Carlo rally in the 1930s. Hotchkiss are
always right hand drive, even the last cars made in 1950s. This example
spent many years in a museum until imported to the UK in 1992. A total of
only 52,000 km seems to have been covered. |
