We specialise in fun dances for beginners and for those who don't want to take it all too seriously. Our aim is to to encourage you to have FUN and include all ages. 

Our callers can offer popular or humorous and novelty dances to suit the occasion. Unlike some other bands who offer the same set format each time, we have the experience to flex the programme to suit the occasion and can usually cater for requests ( when not too difficult for the audience ) . Unless requested differently, we usually do a set of two dances and then play a listening tune whilst people get their breath back before introducing more dances.

What is the difference between a barn dance and a ceilidh ?  

Bands are often asked this question. The original meaning of "ceilidh" was a gathering for songs and story telling. English ceilidhs today are generally like barn dances, the playing and dancing perhaps more exuberant and interspersed with other entertainment,  ....Therefore The Springer Sisters Band is both barn dance and ceilidh band..... The best of both worlds !!!
