High Weald Ridge band was formed at one of Rick Townend's bluegrass days at Wadhurst. The group has been playing high lonesome bluegrass in and around the foothills of the North Downs of Kent ever since at festivals, concerts and at themed functions. |

Peter has played guitar from an early age, starting at the Jug &Punch folk club at Havant, then in numerous big bands, and in a trio called "Now and Then". He writes his own songs, belongs to the Walter de la Mare society and is a keen photographer having given various exhibitions in London galleries. He now frightens himself to death with a huge collection of ghost story books |

Ian has only ever wanted to play mandolin like Bill Monroe. His father made him one when he was young. He now has several mandolins and mandolas and has an extensive knowledge of almost every bluegrass player of note. His other passion is extreme outward bound walking. |
